As part of the module Critical and Creative Thinking, three concepts for re-designing Ackerplatz in Berlin were designed and submitted to the Joanes Preis Stiftung. With a design thinking approach, the students carried out interviews and observations to understand their target group and created design interventions to promote social interaction and behavioural change. The proposals where presented as posters and were exhibited at the Waschküche and at the Joanes Preis Award ceremony.
