Possibilities of Conveying Emotions in Kinetic Typography
Emotions in kinetic typography is a developing concept that has not yet been clearly defined. This thesis work is explores the gap, and find possible ways of evoking emotions through kinetic typography. This study assessed the relationship between text in motion and emotions. The research methods are visual analysis, qualitative, quantitive research and iteration. Several surveys of questionnaires have been collected and analyzed to find out the effects different text in motion had on the participants’ mood. T his study will not be a focal point on color psychology, but colors will be a subject and discussed in the paper since it’s considered as a main art element, and therefore will be used in the design phases.
